The Resilience Kit is a support guide for women with an ovarian cancer diagnosis, developed in close partnership with a team of experts working in cancer care and – most importantly – with women who have experienced living with ovarian cancer.
This group aims to provide a friendly and supportive space for women with an ovarian cancer diagnosis to connect with each other, gather information and ask questions.
Many people find meeting with others in a similar situation helps them realise their responses are ‘normal’ and that other people are going through similar experiences. Attending support groups can also be a good opportunity to learn more about your own situation and strategies for dealing with the challenging times.
The Teal Support Program supports women with ovarian cancer throughout their diagnosis, treatment and beyond. The program is a way of providing holistic care for a woman, their partner, carers and family through regular communication, and the use of available resources, to manage their physical, social and psychological needs.
We deliver free webinars throughout the year to educate, inform and support women living with ovarian cancer and their families. We also keep past webinar recordings as an online educational resource.
Ovarian cancer affects family, friends and carers too. This section explores the experience of having a loved one diagnosed with ovarian cancer, supports available, and some strategies for caring for them, and yourself.
