Ovarian Cancer Australia is thrilled to announce the appointment of Melissa McClusky, Andrew Jolly and Richard Gosper to the Board of Ovarian Cancer Australia.

In welcoming these appointments, Ovarian Cancer Australia Chair, Meghan Speers, highlighted that Ovarian Cancer Australia’s Board of Directors dedicates a significant amount of energy and expertise, working on an honorary basis towards Ovarian Cancer Australia’s vision to save lives and ensure no woman with ovarian cancer walks alone.

“The three incoming Directors will join the Board at a pivotal time of growth and development in programs and services and in the organisation’s digital footprint. Each adds a unique area of expertise and knowledge to our organisation and brings very strong digital acumen. I look forward to working alongside our new Directors to ensure Ovarian Cancer Australia continues to meet our strategic priorities and improve the lives of everyone impacted by ovarian cancer. “ Ms Speers said

“We have come so far as an organisation, but there is still so much work to be done. Ovarian cancer is Australia’s deadliest female cancer with a five-year survival rate of just 49%. We look forward to working together to improve the lives of people affected by ovarian cancer and change the story of what it means to receive an ovarian cancer diagnosis”
