Strategic plan

Expanding our support to more women.

For almost 25 years, Ovarian Cancer Australia has been dedicated to improving outcomes and providing support for women with ovarian cancer. At the same time, we recognise that women affected by other gynaecological cancers don’t have the same level of advocacy or support.

Following extensive consultation, we have developed a new strategic plan to expand our advocacy and support to include women with all gynaecological cancers. Our commitment to the ovarian cancer community remains deep and unwavering, and whilst much has been achieved, there is still much more to be done. As we continue this work, we also believe every woman facing a gynaecological cancer should have access to the care, advocacy and understanding she deserves.

This step reflects both the growing community need and the continuing evolution of our work, given our experience and impact in ovarian cancer. We are in the early stages of this transformative journey and achieving it will require additional funding and support. We are committed to bringing this vision to life.
