Each year in Australia around 1,720 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In most cases the cancer will be diagnosed at an advanced stage, where it is very difficult to treat.
That is why we're committed to ensuring that every Australian knows more about ovarian cancer and its early symptoms.
We need your support to help us achieve this goal.
Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month is held in Australia during February to educate, advocate and elevate awareness of ovarian cancer.
This year, we’re calling on everyone in our community to wear their teal ribbon not just for one day in February, but throughout the whole month.
From a morning tea with colleagues, to a Sunday picnic with friends, you can bring people together to raise vital funds to support those affected by Australia's deadliest female cancer.
Our resources are designed to assist people through their journey with ovarian cancer, as well as to raise awareness of ovarian cancer in the community and educate about the risks and symptoms so that they seek early medical advice, giving them a greater chance of survival.
Support those living with ovarian cancer by purchasing some teal merchandise, such as a pen or a ribbon.
Real stories from women impacted by ovarian cancer and their loved ones to help create widespread awareness of this insidious disease.
