Workplace giving

Workplace giving allows you to support people affected by ovarian cancer by making a regular, tax deductible donation to Ovarian Cancer Australia through your employer’s payroll system.​

​Because the donation is made from your pre-tax pay, you receive the immediate tax benefit at the time your donation is made, rather than waiting until your tax return.​

​Like other regular forms of giving, payroll giving helps us to plan confidently and budget more effectively for ongoing programs – meaning that we can make the best possible use of your ongoing gift.​

​Many workplaces also have matched giving programs, where your employer matches what you donate. This is also a cost and tax-effective way of giving for workplaces.​

​We need courageous people to help one of the most underfunded and most deadliest women’s cancer.

Ways of getting started:

1. Speak to your Payroll Manager or Workplace Giving Manager ​

Find out if your organisation has a workplace giving program and giving form. If they do, you can sign up through your workplace and nominate Ovarian Cancer Australia as your preferred charity. (Note, Ovarian Cancer Australia is on most 3rd party workplace giving platforms, contact us if you cannot find us or we are not registered to your organisation). ​

2. Sign up to Ovarian Cancer directly

​If your organisation doesn’t have a workplace giving program, you can choose to sign up directly via Ovarian Cancer Australia. Complete the form and return it to your Payroll Officer. Your Payroll Office can contact us to get you set up contact: workplacegiving@ovariancancer.net.au

3. Ask your workplace about Matched Giving

​Ask your payroll officer or People & Culture manager if your organisation offers matched giving where your donation is matched making more impact​.
