What is the Exercise and Nutrition Program?
The Exercise and Nutrition program supports and co-ordinates access to an exercise physiologist and dietitian with oncology expertise to develop individualised plans for people with ovarian cancer based on their goals, needs and circumstances. This may enhance the physical and emotional well-being of people with ovarian cancer both during and post treatment.

Who can participate?
This program is for people living with ovarian cancer.
Who is delivering the service?
OCA have partnered with Exercise Physiologists and Dietitians who have extensive oncology experience.
What does participation involve?
By participating in the OCA Exercise and Nutrition Program you will have free access to an exercise physiologist and dietitians with expertise in oncology. Your consultants will:
- conduct individualised assessments
- help you to set goals
- develop individualised programs to meet your needs with the aim of improving your overall emotional and physical wellbeing
- help promote greater independence and long-term self-management
Consultations may be virtually or face to face depending on accessibility. The frequency of your consultations will depend on your individual circumstances.
