Fundraising tips

Some useful tips and social media images to assist in raising funds and awareness. 

Every dollar you raise will help Ovarian Cancer Australia to provide personalised support, and create better outcomes for people affected by ovarian cancer.


Getting started

  • Make sure your fundraising page is personalised with a photo and information about your challenge
  • Look the part! Get a cap or t-shirt to wear while you're exercising 
  • Start a team and invite your friends or colleagues to join you
  • Spread the word on social media and through your network
 

How to raise $100 in a week

Day 1:  Sponsor yourself! Donate $20 to your own page to kickstart your fundraising efforts

Day 2:  Ask a family member to donate $20

Day 3:  Reach out to a friend to sponsor you for $20

Day 4:  Ask your workmates for a $20 donation

Day 5:  Post on social media. Share your story on Instagram or update your status on Facebook asking for a $20 donation. Don't have social media? Send an email or SMS
