Professional fees can be hugely expensive, and one of the ways we are able to keep costs down is through the pro bono assistance of experts and professionals. If you have a skill that you would like to donate, for example in marketing or counselling, please get in touch.

Become a Teal Team member

Ovarian Cancer Australia's Teal Team is made up of our:

• Community Ambassadors
• Volunteers

The Teal Team works tirelessly to support us and to promote Ovarian Cancer Australia and our message that 'every woman needs to know the symptoms of ovarian cancer'.

Distribute awareness leaflets and posters

Are you in a position where you can persuade your local surgery or pharmacy to take some leaflets and a poster for the month of February, or even better throughout the year? Perhaps you work in a large organisation that has an occupational health team? We're happy to supply posters and leaflets wherever they could be used, so please contact us ASAP and help us to spread the word.

Volunteer at our National Office 

We are a really small team with a huge workload! Any offers of help with keeping our database up to date, or dealing with demands during peak times (e.g. February Awareness month, or sending out the newsletter) would be greatly appreciated.

Fundraising

We are a not-for-profit, self-funded organisation and we rely heavily on sponsorship, donations, events and fundraising from the general community. Fundraising is a major component of Ovarian Cancer Australia’s income and we encourage you to become involved. Your generosity will allow Ovarian Cancer Australia to continue developing and expanding awareness and support programs to create a future of hope for all women.

Buy Merchandise | Ribbons,  Christmas Cards

Wearing a teal ribbon is a positive way of showing your support and of spreading awareness of ovarian cancer. Teal is the international colour of ovarian cancer, recognised throughout the world. We have ribbons which you can order in minimum quantities of 5 at $2 each. Christmas cards are another way to show your support. Organise your own event

If you’d like to raise money for a worthy cause then why not start organising your own unique event with the proceeds being donated to Ovarian Cancer Australia? Events can range from a trivia night, to a day at the races, a long lunch, a BBQ, casual dress day or the sale of unwanted household or office goods. Events are only limited by your imagination!
