Workplace giving

Workplace giving is a simple and effective way for employees to regularly donate to charities or organisations which have a deductible gift recipient (DGR) status. Most people who make a donation will see a tax benefit in their pay. If you donate a small amount you may not get a tax benefit until you claim your donations though your tax return. Bequests

Making a bequest to Ovarian Cancer Australia, no matter how big or small, will help us to continue with our awareness and education programs for the benefit of all women and their families, friends and work colleagues.

Below is an example of suggested wording for a bequest, but it is only a suggestion. Your solicitor will be able to assist you more precisely.

"I bequeath to Ovarian Cancer Australia of 154 Waverley Road, East Malvern for its general purposes [(the whole) or (a specific amount or gift) or (a percentage) or (the residue)] of my estate free of all duties, and I declare that the receipt of its treasurer or other authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my executor."

In honour donations

A gift to Ovarian Cancer Australia in honour of a loved one is a wonderful way to remember someone, and at the same time help raise the profile and community awareness of ovarian cancer. When making your donation, by any of the above listed ways, simply add the name of the person your donation is in honour of. Upon receipt of your donation, we will notify the family of the person you have made your donation in honor of, to let them know about your gift. We only advise them that you have made a gift, not the amount of your donation. We will also send you a tax-deductible receipt in the mail. Donation envelopes

You may wish to ask friends or family to make a donation to Ovarian Cancer Australia in lieu of flowers at the funeral of a loved one or in honour of a special event. Please contact us on 1300 660 334 or email admin@ovariancancer.net.au and we will arrange for donation envelopes to be delivered directly to you or your funeral director.

Direct deposit

You can make your donation by direct deposit via internet banking. Please contact us on 1300 660 334 or email admin@ovariancancer.net.au for our bank details. All donations will be acknowledged with an official receipt for your taxation records.
