Each year in February Ovarian Cancer Australia runs a national Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month campaign to highlight the symptoms of ovarian cancer and to raise funds for our programs.
About us
New Research: Assessing the needs of women with gynaecological cancers
Health professionals aim to treat cancer but also to support the patient. To do that, they need to know what support women need.
Researchers from The University of Sydney are conducting a study that will explore the emotional, physical, practical, relationship and information needs of women who have been diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer. We would like to know what support you need and which needs are not being met by the health care system.
If you would like to participate please contact Ms Anna-Lena Lopez on anna-lena.lopez@sydney.edu.au or on 02 0936 7264 and a questionnaire and reply-paid envelope will be mailed to you. Or contact Anna on 02 0936 7264.
