An accomplished comedian, actress and writer, Jean Kittson is an Australian comedy legend. Jean first came to national attention on The Big Gig. She has been a regular on television's Great Debate series as well as Good News Week.

Jean has also been a regular in radio; writing and performing on Sydney’s 2Day FM and as a breakfast presenter with MIX106.5. Her talents have also been expressed in print through her book Tongue Lashing!, through regular columns in New Weekly and Sunday Telegraph magazines, as well as the Sydney Morning Herald. 

Jean was a very close friend and colleague of one of Ovarian Cancer Australia's Founding Directors, Lynda Gibson. As an ambassador, Jean has fulfilled many MC roles for Ovarian Cancer Australia as well as promoting the cause wherever she goes. She was also Ovarian Cancer Australia's 2010 Awareness Month Campaign Ambassador.

Each year in February Ovarian Cancer Australia runs a national Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month campaign to highlight the symptoms of ovarian cancer and to raise funds for our programs.
