Each year in February Ovarian Cancer Australia runs a national Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month campaign to highlight the symptoms of ovarian cancer and to raise funds for our programs.

Professor Neville F. Hacker
Gynaecological Oncologist and Professor of Gynaecological Oncology, Conojoint, University of NSW
Dr Neville F. Hacker graduated from the University of Queensland with first class honours in 1967. He trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Brisbane, then trained in gynaecologic oncology at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), where he stayed for nine years.
He was Director of Gynecological Oncology at UCLA 1984-1986, before returning to Australia to establish the Gynaecological Cancer Centre at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney.
He is Professor of Gynaecological Oncology, Conjoint, at the University of New South Wales, a Past President of the International Gynecological Cancer Society, a past Chairman of the Oncology Committee of the RANZCOG, and a current Member of the FIGO Cancer Committee.
He has written over 150 peer reviewed articles, over 30 book chapters, and two books, both in their 5th editions.
